陳冰，加拿大工程院院士，歐洲科學(xué)與藝術(shù)學(xué)院院士?，F任加拿大紐芬蘭紀念大學(xué)工程與應用科學(xué)學(xué)院教授和副院長(cháng)，北極大學(xué)聯(lián)盟研究主席，加拿大北部持久性有機污染控制重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗室主任，可持久性-新型-有機污染研發(fā)國際聯(lián)盟創(chuàng )始主席。此外，當選為加拿大皇家學(xué)會(huì )會(huì )員，加拿大土木工程學(xué)會(huì )主席，加拿大水質(zhì)量學(xué)會(huì )副主席等。作為環(huán)境工程領(lǐng)域特別是淡水和海洋污染防治和環(huán)境應急響應等方面國際知名專(zhuān)家，已發(fā)表500余篇學(xué)術(shù)論文和專(zhuān)著(zhù)以及專(zhuān)利。同時(shí)擔任加拿大國家海洋保護計劃MPRI國家顧問(wèn)委員會(huì )委員、Environ. Chen Bing is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering and a Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (Academia Europaea). He currently holds the positions of Professor and Associate Dean in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada. Additionally, he serves as the Research Chair of the Arctic University Consortium, Director of the Key Laboratory for Persistent Organic Pollutants Control in Northern Canada, and Founding President of the International Consortium for Research and Development on Persistent and Novel Organic Pollutants. Elected to prestigious positions, he is also a Member of the Royal Society of Canada, President of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering, and Vice-President of the Canadian Water Quality Association, among others. Renowned internationally in the field of environmental engineering, especially in freshwater and marine pollution prevention and environmental emergency response, Dr. Chen has authored over 500 academic papers, monographs, and holds patents. He contributes further as a member of Canada's National Advisory Committee for the Marine Protected Areas Research Initiative (MPRI), Editor-in-Chief of Environmental Systems Research, and serves on the editorial boards of more than 10 specialized journals as an Associate Editor or member.
